AANR's Amazing Canvas Nudist Face and Body Painting Event

The Guinness World Record Skinny Dip was a major success. It promoted AANR and nude recreation to the general public. This in turn promoted AANR and AANR clubs and resorts. The success of this event prompted AANR's Public Relations team to create another fun event that will capture the imagination and interest of the public and media. We are calling this event, AANR's Amazing Canvas Nudist Face and Body Painting Event.

With this event we are creating an opportunity for the public to come to AANR resorts, clubs, and parties where they can join in the fun and excitement of nude recreation week. The Public Relations team will create the interest in this event. We encourage all clubs and resorts to invite their local media.

AANR has an excellent reputation with the media, therefore we will not have a co-sponsor like Guinness. This is a 100% AANR event. This will give us more flexibility.

Here Are Details for all clubs, resorts, and AANR members wanting to host body painting parties:

1) AANR will create separate event pages on the www.aanr.com site. Clubs, resorts, and AANR member parties can register to participate in this event on the AANR site. We want to encourage as many people as possible to participate. AANR members can register to have body painting house parties, pool parties, beach parties, etc.

2) Artists and clubs will provide their own body paints, markers, etc. Even Crayola has inexpensive washable paints and markers. If you contact Gloria at: http://www.sillyfarm.com/store/index.php?p=catalog&parent=222&pg=1 they will give AANR members a discount on body paints.

3) Basic sanitary procedures should be followed.

4) It is recommended that "canvases" or their guardians sign a release before being painted. Also "canvases" should be aware that paints may be hard to wash off or can leave funny tan lines. AANR will create releases and have them available on the AANR site.

5) Every club, resort, and AANR member has the option to join in this fun event. It is not required. Also if you host an event, you can decide whether it is open to the public or not. We do ask everyone to please promote the event and AANR.

6) Clubs may or may not want to give prizes at the local level. AANR will create a certificate of participation template for all artists and canvases. At the local level, prizes can be awarded for such categories as funniest, scariest, silliest, age categories, male, female, etc.

7) At the national level there will be monetary prizes $500 for the best amateur and professional artwork. $250 for the 2nd best amateur and professional artwork, and $100 for the 3rd best amateur and professional artwork. Voting will be done online.

8) Each club will vote on the best canvases to submit by photo to the AANR office. You may submit up to the top 3 amateur and 3 professional photos. Votes can be by show of hands, clapping, paper ballots, etc. It is up to each club to decide how to tally votes.

9) There are opportunities for advertising and sponsoring this event.

10) Local clubs will decide if an artist is an amateur or professional.

11) AANR is asking everyone to please sign up for this fun event by May 1st. AANR will maintain a list of clubs, resorts, and member parties that are participating.

Rules:

1) Artists can use brushes, finger paint, stencil designs, henna, body paints, markers, etc to create fun and creative designs. We leave the medium up to the artist.

2) There are 2 prize categories, one for best national amateur artist artwork and one for best national professional artist artwork. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awarded in each category. Cash prizes will be awarded in each category. 1st place amateur and professional artists receive $500 each, 2nd place amateur and professional artists receive $250 each. 3rd place amateur and professional artists receive $100 each.

3) Full body painting is not required to win. For instance painting only a face, arm, leg, back, chest, etc. can win. The artists need to create a work of art that will cause the public to vote for their creation.

4) Only 1 vote per IP address.

5) A professional artist is defined as an artist that devotes a major portion of their time in creating, practicing, performing, or teaching art and/or art classes.

6) Each independent event location will vote on the top 3 amateur and professional canvases to photograph and submit to the AANR office. It is OK to submit less than 3 photos in each category. AANR will then select what they consider to be the top 10 ten photos in each category for the general public to vote for online. The decision of AANR judges in selecting these top 10 photos in each category is final.

7) This event is open to the general public and AANR members. All "canvases" and artists must be 18 or over to enter. Each entrant will provide contact information such as their name, address, e-mail address, and phone number. A model release from the canvas, artist release, and photographic release is required with each entry. It is not necessary to show the face of the art work. All submitted photos become the property of AANR and may be freely used for general advertising and/or promotional purposes by AANR and its affiliated clubs and resorts in any media including electronic media such as the internet. The photos may also appear in national and international publications. Only the first names of the canvas and artist will be used unless they request their full names to be disclosed.

8) Artists and "canvases" do not have to be members of AANR to win.

9) AANR reserves the right to modify rules up to the event date of July 14th, 2012.

10) All contest decisions by AANR are final.
